I had all intention of making this truggy as inexpensive as possible, mostly becuase thats the only way the wifey would allow it lol but in doing so i used the expensive backup stuff i had for my buggy, so i didnt have to spend money on stuff like engine pipe, steering servo, wing, i didnt get any bling (red stuff) although i must admit the new BCE ST-1 chassis looks really good, but in the spirit of this post i dont beleive it's needed in order to be competitive. obviously if you add the original cost of the back buggy parts i ised the total cost is way more than $300.00 which i think that is what tex is implying

Joe,
Way to put those spares to work! They weren't doing any good in the pit box now were they? If the buggy breaks, strip the truck.

Thanks dave, well i didnt really have a choice really, my wife came up with this new deal so she can coexist with me and my hobby, bascially i have to double any money i spend on my hobby and half goes to the wife for pleasure spending and half goes into my son's account. So if i spend 100$ im actually spending $300 lol i dont mind but i have to be much more precise with my spending.

Sounds prudent.
I set a earnings goal each year. If I exceed it, the overage gets spread around over the family as fun stuff. Some for her, some for me, some for the kids, some for the house.

It could be you want them that way, but the front upper arms are on backwards, which decreases caster.
