Dave and Jerry, I came across something on CFX awhile back, If u get a chance try out the #24 blades, they are not made to fit in a regular xacto, but i just fit it in the top with about an inch of blade sticking out. It seems like it gives u a little more control, perfect for straight lines

some doctor on their put in a whole spiel about how its about blade control and not #11 blades lol it looks like this style of blade will give the most blade to surface contact

Is the #24 blade samller? I only ever use the very tip anyway...I can't see how that would make a difference.

its actually bigger, but the blade is at a 24* angle instead of 11* so u can get it flatter on the body
