Any love for the MBX4??

And I know I could always shop right at Palace Billiards (where I usually play) but I am thinking it will be a bit more pricey..... I am thinking I can get a decent entry level cue near $125 or so.

Cue and Cushion in Woodridge.
Owen's Games on 75th near Lemont Road, across from Zigfield Troy Golf Course.
Siebert's Billiard online (in Michigan)
eBay!!!!

I would budget $100 to start. Cheapest Viking in their showroom near Madison, WI is around $160 and it's pretty plain. A nice Sneaky Pete will run you $250-$300, but you can't tell it isn't a house cue.

I have a fairly simple Lucasi LD1, which I love. For a few bucks less, Players makes decent cue.
If I hadn't gotten into RC, a Schon, Joss, Predator, or Meucci were all cues I lusted after. About $500 to get in.

That is roughly what I was thinking price-wise. I have seen Viking and Cuetec cues for right around $120 on sale a few times at palace. They have some nice entry level cues and you get to play them right away. They are real good too. My buddy bought a cheap $100 cue (cheap relative to what they sell there) and it had the tiniest amount of a curve to it and they took it back no questions assked, after a game or two. Seem pretty straight up. When I get my liscense I will look around some more.
