I’m going to make this official for everyone.

Round 4 @ Peoria for the MidwestNitro Series has been rescheduled to July 25th
We will start at our normal scheduled times.
The only change is we will be running 3 full qualifiers no matter how many entries we have.

I hope everyone can make it to the new date. Peoria has been devastated by rain this year. This is the latest start for them since they opened for racing. I’m sure they could use your support.

Yes anyone can show up and race. You do not need to have started from the beginning. Only 20% usualy follow the series to all the races.
The classes are Buggy & Truggy in both Pro or sportsman. I also have a classes for the Slash in stock and modded.
You shopuld also know that electric converted buggys and truggys are allowed. Oh and Monster trucks can run with the sportsman truggys.

Sorry for not getting to you guys sooner. It's been very busy here at work the past few days. I finally have a chance to update everyone.

First I want to thank all the crew at Peoria! They put in a lot of hard work to get this round in and raced. We had one hell of a rain storm Friday night and it turned the track into instant mud pie. Confusedmile: Marvin and the crew went to work first thing in the morning and did a great job getting the track race ready.
It was amazing how well the track dried once the sun got past the tree line and dried it up. Funny as it sounds the rain that hit Friday kept the track just moist enough to give us premium traction all day.
I know Tim Booker is working on getting the picks up today and should be ready today or tomorrow. We got a few shots in the morning to give you an idea of the before and after effect.

Today after work I will get the race results and the points up. I have completed most of the classes but need to finish a few. I will have them in order based on the throw out, NOT total points. It seems at the last round it could go either way for some classes. I never expected it to be this close!

Again...
Marvin and crew, thank you so much for all the hard work! My hat is off to you guys!

just finnished updating the website. You all can now stop the PM's, emails and phone calls to get a sneek peek at the point totals.:ha::ha:

They are sorted by current possible throw outs. Not point totals

Points Tally

I want to thank Tim Booker for the great job in getting the picks up so fast. You did a great job. Props to you man!!!

I would like to point out we have had a lot of entries so far over the season.
66 pro buggy
36 pro truggy
62 inter buggy
44 inter truggy
17 slash oc
9 stock slash

It's not over yet. Many people are still in the running for the top 5 spots in all the classes. If you made it to a few rounds and the top guys don't you could walk away as one of the top MidwestNitro winners. So dont think your out of the running just yet. I have seen it happen!! Check your points!!!

Sunday was the last race of the season, It started out to be “Gary must be nuts to run” but the weather turned south and it was all sunshine from there on out. For a short while I even had second thoughts in the morning.
We had 65 entries for the final at the Rock Pile. All the crew at the Pile did a great job on the track and was very supportive to me braving the microphone to announce the race. I owe Josh Riese a big thank you for all the help with the computer. Thank you Josh, you saved the day.
Most of the pint leaders were in attendance and received there plaques. I should have the website updated with the race results and total points ASAP. Give me a little time as I still have no computer at home and do all the updates after work. Tim Booker again stepped up to the plate and offered to work on all the photos and post them up. I look forward to seeing them my self.

All in all I think it was a great time.

I want to thank EVERYONE who entered in the series and all the tracks for hosting the races. Leisure Hours, Cheese City, Jtec, RiverCity Raceway, and The Rock Pile thank you for allowing us to race at your facilities. If it were not for you we would not had so much fun this summer. I also want to thank the sponsors for there support this year. Erich Whiteside from Harbor Hobbies for guest announcing, Grayslake Hobby World for the Slash giveaway, Professional Hydraulic for the shirts, Josh Riese from Performance Hobby bringing Live RC, and last but not least Byron for donating the fuel.

Last a personal thank you to the guys that assisted me behind the curtain. You know who you are! Thank you for the help and all the advice!

I have to say sorry for not giving any updates. Out computers crashed here and have been on and off all week. I've been trying to get work caught up but it seems to never end.

Here is where we are.

The people who requested to have the plaques redone are being shipped back to Chad today. He is going to replace the grafix and send complimentry stickes.
The plaques that belong to racers down south Chad will get them to them. The others will be sent to me and I will contact you.
Please be patient.

I have updated the website for Tim to get the picks up. As soon as he is able I am sure he will publish everything and post it is ready to view.

On a side note I will be taking a month off from the series and resume my duties in October. At that time look forward to a new website with a fresh look and a better series for the 2010 season.

Till then I hope to get feedback from everyone on some new ideas and comments you may have.
