Me too! I put in the steering tophat thingys I was talking about and the steering is a bit tighter now, along with my 18t turnbuckles. Haven't started it yet, probably gonna refill the shocks before I run it, it's waay to springy. Oh and I trimmed some of the knife edged points on the body so they don't cut me or anyone for that matter.

How many tanks do u guys think is good for break-in? We used 4 with one for idling, then one for slowly driving, then the next 2 for tuning. Idk, the piston and sleeve looks good and the powers good so idk. And matt i dont think the steering has too much play, maybe its just me. Today were putting his spektrum in there, the stock controlller blows.

yeah I use my m11 with the spektrum lol, I just idle one tank with mine I do not see the slop in the steering eighter? I think my center diff went out alreayd like 5 tanks into it lol

Slop meaning try and turn both wheels out or in at the same time. More like flex than slop.

hmmm...any rear brake kits out there for these? anyone else's idle high also? this thing took a hell of a beating on the track today though

No rear brake. Do yourself a favor and lock the center diff, or put something super thick in there aka silly putty etc.

You -can- lower the idle with the idle screw lol

Your linkage is probably f'd up, I know mine has taken a good amount of adjusting to get working properly.
Take that fuel tubing peice off the linkage and put a spring in there of equal length.

Idk about the rear brake kit, and no our idle wasant high at all. Would locking the center diff really hwlp the braking since these things have plastic diff gears? And we ordered some extra stuff, aluminum shock towers, aluminum threaded shocks, 16t clutchbell, extra pullstart w/ one way bearing, extra clutch bearings, extra clutch shoes w/ spring, and a screw kit. Gonna look sweet and hopefully run better too.

I don't get why it would matter if the gears were plastic or metal- if you lock it, then you will have 4 wheel braking so you stop faster and still can't steer lol.

What's the stock CB tooth count?
