whew, for a second there I thought you were gona get a motor with 11-12 minute runtime. Better for all the vspek owners when you need to pit twice as much.
The os may be a little more at first but think of all the money youll save on fuel. 8 gal on a vspek is almost like 14 gal on a motor that will only run 7-9 min...
Just make sure you have a fast pit guy.

I wasnt the only one that day...damn smaller tank.

And like I said,I dont know if he changed motors, but the week before at LH. He had that new $500 ninja motor in there. Granted,it was flying like a bat out of hell. But who knows what he did when he got down there to the nats.

My ninja is good for 9-11 minutes outside and 11+ inside. But how long your fuel last also depends on how hard you are on the throttle. Go wide open all the time, and you'll run out sooner.

I'm too balls out I think...If I had a chance to get it tuned I think I wouldnt have to hit it as much.

If your motor runs for 11 mins + indoor then why did you run out of fuel in the bmain the last time i was at LH... Last time i checked those were 10 min races.......

Im just being honest... (and an incredible smartass!) i mean seriously.... 11+ min runtimes??? If that was the case thats the only motor people would run and if a motor didnt get atleast 9 mins of runtime it would be ostracized for being a fuel hog...

Just calling an overestimation out...

i didint order the engine yet. Do you guys think itll be fine with an rbs5 like chad said? oh and chad how does the truggy turn and handle with those ace servos? Will it still be raceable or not at all?
Reply
#42
the ace will be fine dont waste ur money on that hitec crap, futaba or ace and ull be set. I would pick up an S7 if u wanna go rb thats what GQ runs in his truck and its great. Dont listen to the sandbagger he will just keep u runnning sportsman caliber all ur life Smile

theyre both rb's.. they will have the same resounding lack of low end and have smooth mid and high end....

the s7 will have more across the whole band but will be bitch smacked by a novarossi any day... (hehehe)
