i just brought a Novak 4.5 brushless, just wondering what Lipo battery i can run with that. My old battery was a 7.2 4300 milliamp. Does the Lipo battery have to be a 7.2. and how many cells does it have to be, and how many milliamp can i run?? thank you

you can run whatever mah (you said your old one was 4300) because that is just capacity of the pack. Not sure on the voltage your esc can handle. The number of cells directly affects the voltage, more cells=more volts.

I believe the novak systems anre limited to 7 cells on the nimh packs. lipo is allowed 3cells. I would suggest like a maxamps lipo 3cell 20c at 11.1 volts with 5800 mah Also if your interested tenergy just introduced 5000nimh loose cells. They are 72$ for 20 of them.

yes sir!Big Grin venom also makes packs. The tenergy cells are matched though and cost WAY less. the venom pack is 80$ and you can build 3 packs for 72$ plus wire, bars etc. So total about 100 bux for 2-7cells and 1 6 cell. Not bad for a decent battery. tenergy is by far the best but I've heard they are great for bashing as long as you build them yourself. I guess they use cheap components making them. Why I don't know

Be aware that the 5000mah cells are 50mmx26mm.

IB4200 cells are 43.7 mm. Diameter, 23.4 mm.

With my Xray FK04 the IB4200 don't fit.
