Official Spektrum Press Release
DX3R DSM2 3CH Surface Radio
Overview
While DX3R’s intelligently designed ergonomics are the first thing that catches the eye, it is the superior responsiveness of its advanced 2.4GHz DSM2 technology that will get people talking. In addition to unparalleled freedom and interference protection, DSM2 has a faster response time than any other spread spectrum or PPM system. With it, you will be able to hold the “line” around a track with a level of precision and control unlike anything you have experienced before. And because DSM2 uses direct sequence spread spectrum technology, you’ll maintain this superior response rate no matter how “noisy” the 2.4GHz environment gets.

I still think it's too tall. Nobody except sasquatch would need a grip that long. Comon. Do 3 fingers really take up that much space? No. Make it shorter and it'll be more comfortable/balanced.

I thought the same thing Steve. The spek does look a bit more sleek and refined though.

It's a difference of looking at a Lumina or looking at a Vette. I could care less about looks though, it's all about function.

they have come up with their own case designs buddy. they own JR so they technically did not copy it, they jsut simply made the same radio design and turned it into a spektrum radio
