It was tuned fine for the race.... then it was running hot at about 280 or so. We richened it a little bit and everything went to hell. Then all of a sudden it was down at 180 and spit a plug. Then 260 and spit a plug.... Now about 260 and just not feeling right. Low end seems ok but the high end is pig rich. Getting ZERO run time.... but leaning it out at all makes it run really hot. I'm lost.

Seems like that motor was in Czech-condition when you bought it. Kick the scammer in the ballz next time you see him. Wink

You guys kill me with all this Fuel stuff. Werks is good but the main reason everyone is on it, is because no one could get it before. Its that Ol' FOM syndrome

I don't think so because it is idling fine. Generally an air leak will make it idle weird. I think the exhaust is fitting fine as well.....

I have my werks motor because I was looking for something cheap(money wise) and good. That narrowed it down to 2 and I picked this one. And I have been happy with the motor. Other then it coming from the factory with some really messed up tuning. It has run just fine.

As for the fuel. I know it runs better then my sidewinder. I had a quart of it and it ran better then it did with the sidewinder. And with less smoke too.

I am still kind of weary of running a .21 in a truggy. I somehow can't see it hanging on during those straightaway drag races..... tell me I'm wrong.

Haha.... was looking for something a little more convincing but allright. LoL I'll pay attention Monday and watch some .21's against .26's or .28's to see if there is reall a difference. How much of a difference is there between the .21 and .28 Werks motors??

I have been told it is overkill.

What about it?? You also have it in a buggy.... I am wondering about .21s in truggies. How much more power does the v-spec have over this B3?? (Sorry if these are some obvious or noob questions.... I haven't really followed motors as well as I should have been.)

It's hanging with/passing mikes B7 if that tells you anything. And then I roll over and he passes me again. Sad :p: Of course that's in his buggy too but you get the point.

We should rides for a tank on party day.

Lots of people run .21s in truggies.

It wouldn't suprise me if more people ran 21s than 28s in truggies.

STS .28 is a REAL good budget mill. So much power, so much low end and top end! I got mine, bump start, for $115 shipped if I remember right.

a B7 is fine in my truggy i got plenty of top end, I think I will end up picking up the 28 if i dont get the extra run time with a 2013
