First couple days with the camera, I still don't know how changing the various settings effects the image, so I've been using the preset picture modes.

Rob, what are you using to view those pictures on the computer. My mom has a rebel (don't know which one), but I used to use FinePix Viewer with her Fuji, but it won't work with the cannon.

I just plug in the camera, go to my computer, and click on the camera when it pops up. Drag and drops pics from there.

I figured out how to shoot in RAW format. The quality is noticeably better to me, now I'm debating on whether the 7mb~ per file more is worth it.

Yeah, at one time I ran the antenna inside the box, then Mich got on me about it so I put the tube on to make him happy, and it ended up breaking and ripped the antenna out of the receiver.

I just got mine thursday. Still learning all what to do to take nice pictures. Can even take video too with sound. Didnt do to bad with that.

No, I do not, sorry. At the diecast place, they wern't in any labeled package or anything, and I cannot find a name on the cases anywhere.

Well he doesn't come around any more so you can run it back inside the box. I think that last picture is AMAZING. Worth the ~7mb a pic if you ask me. Just make sure you have at least a 1 gig card if not 2 or more. You should still get a damn good amount of pictures....
