Michowski Wrote:ditch the integy. That company is crap. Stick with stock shoes or MIP. I personally prefere the MIP. I used to get an average of 4 gallons per set.

Yes. They work fine with the 40mm flywheel I have.
The MIP Clutch shoes can be set up to work one of two ways. I dont have the sheet here infront of me. But if I remember right, the first set of holes are for the quick launch. So they engage quick. The inner set of holes are for a later launch. So it lets the motor rev up alittle bit more before they engage.
I will look to see if I am correct. But those are the options you have with those clutch shoes.

Integy is basicly only good for show and thats it. I think I even saw a ad somewhere where they say that. If you do use their parts for racing or bashing. I would say as long as they are not parts that take any abuse. You will be fine. But in your cause, with the clutch. Your better off using the MIP.

Doubt it. You should go out and find a RD product start box. Many guys have that. I think there are 2-3 others out there for the revo. I know RD logics has one and native also but not sure on that. The revo will not work with a normal start box.

I have heard the stock flywheel will work with a revo start box. But most people get the 40mm one because it is easier to start because it is bigger then the stock flywheel.

I just edited my post about that lol.
Just get the 40mm one and you will be set. You will also need a back plate and you have to grind down a part of the crank shaft also. All of that is not hard to do.

Do NOT get the RD LOGICS Box, ever! Get the RD Racing one, PM Michowski, he has one for sale for a great price, with battery.

how is it a pain? Just drop it on the top and it automatically aligns itself and you just push the motor to the wheel and your done. Its easier then changing a wheel IMO.

this weekend is a special race, normal practice doesn't apply. There is no practice this saturday unless your competing in the fall championships, which you can, all you have to do is sign up.

Couple of questions.
Is a wing a good option?
and gear ratio, close. standard. wide
cb And spur, Where is a good starting point

I liked the wing on mine because it helped keep the truck more planted. Also when it was in the air it made it fly more level and made it easy to make any adjustments in mid flight to correct the truck for landing.

Gear ratio I had wide ratio and stock. I was always switching between the 2. I would just leave it at stock for now untill you get comfortable on the track. You can even go close ratio. That wil take away some top end but it will help you get to the top end of the truck faster then standard.

You can adjust your spur and cb based on how much power your truck is making. I always had my spur stock and just adjusted the cb. When my truck was able to wheelie on command I would step it up a tooth on the cb untill I just got the fastest take off I could without the front end lifting up. Or on a track with a lot of speed and big burms I would drop down to get a ton of low end so I was able to fly through the burms and just rocket off the top of them.
