no risk of losing your arm with that. And as for getting the free cokes with that. Nice idea on how to do that. Downside is having the time to do that. I finally saw the first of those at a rest area outside urbana. Knowing cameras are there,wouldnt be a good idea to do that.

take clear packing tape (2 in thick)
cut two equal 18" long pieces tape one on the last 1" of a dollar bill take the other piece of tape and do the exact thing on the other side (tape on tape action..haha) (so no sticky parts are left) Now you should have a $1 bill with a 17" clear strip hanging off one end. Insert it into the soda machine (any machine) holding onto the taped section. Once it locks in and says $1.00 on the screen pull it back out using your nice new tape handle. You not only get the free drinks but you get the change from the dollar (if any). Back when all soda machines were $.50 or less this was a great way for a 12 year old to get a lot of money quick. (not to mention all the soda you could drink, then some)
