It is a 45 gallon saltwater tank that is on it's way to becoming a reef.

that looks killer, gave me the motivation to get my ass in gear, i bought a 75 gal setup from my buddy, all i need is a good protien skimmer cause he wouldnt get off his. and one of those nice lights like you have, it just has a plain old flour.light right now.

I just met up with a guy from reef central and got a bunch of corals for real cheap.
These are bad pics, my dad has my good camera.

Well, I never had it shipped to me, but when you buy it from the LFS, they wrap it in damp newspaper.

He put the corals in plastic bags, just like from a fish store, with water in them

I am seriously considering trying to convince my parents to let me set up a nano during the winter and take a little break from r/c.

Is there any reason why not to start one of these in the winter?
