Stupid E-clips!!!
#1
Grr. was going to run through the last tank for breakin on my buggy when I apparently lost and e clip and now the a-arm pin walked itself out of the car.

Why cant' they build a car without these stupid things. I have to replace them nearly every time I go bashing on one car or another.

Dab a bit of silicone on them (like shoe-goo or something similar) then they'll stay on but if you need to get them off you can just pick off the goo and get to the e-clip.

I think there a lot of buggys/trucks that have captured. My mugen does, but I think it is an upgrade.

You can also replace the e-clips with snap rings.

Ya'know my first thought seeing the title of this post was Damn, someone thinks just like me!

Then I realised that I made the thread.Big Grin And felt stupid.Sad

Not as stupid as the time I hard forgotten napster was on, and ended up downloading from myself on the Morpheus network. Wondered how i was getting 600kbyte+ on a 90kbyte max DSL connection.Big Grin

I fixed all my Eclip issues with silicone. Works just fine for now. I think I'll probably go with snap rings in the end though. Seems like a better solution without drilling and tapping stuff.
