Hey, at least it ran....

As some of you know, I got a k2 from a trade, and got to fire her up for the first time after a couple of problems; the carb not opening/closing easily, steering part busted, fuel line routing lol.....But yeah, got the starter box from tex tonight, and it was already setup perfect for me heheh!!! Wouldn't start, so I leaned 1/4 turn HSN, and she fired right up like nothing....Idle seemed high, but apparently what it was is that my linkages weren't set up right and so my brakes were being pushed, not allowing the carb to shut fully, resulting in a high idle. Noticed that, but what I didn't notice was that apparently my brakes were dragging badly, mostly the front ones. After a few high speed runs back and forth, I brought it near me to lean a little, and noticed excess smoke, not from the pipe, but from the chassis! Uh oh! :o :bustingup It smelled of plasic, burning, which isn't good, so I brought it in and fixed everything.....

Ok so the whole point of this post is, what are the stock settings on an OS 21RG? Runs pretty well, but not sure how far off the needles are. The online manual states what the HSN should be, (3 turns out), but not what the lsn or idle should be set at.

Thanks much.

The OS has a 20e carb. I ran that carb on my hyper 21, and it ran good at HSN 2 turns out and the LSN 1/2 turn in from flush

That's a damn shame. Wouldn't have happened if you traded for the storm... lol. I'm just kidding. Sucks though...
