Naperville HT course sugestions
#11
The concrete was good but it was also rubbing away to dust I feel if we continue to comp on it, it will all rub away to dust eventually with the dig setups.Big Grin If you sprayed it with a coating to seal it, it would control the erosion better, herculiner would be a good option. Maybe i'm just imagining things. The lower section just needs organization as I said if you used any kind filler it would be great. Maybe pea gravel would work as you could change the course and it would fill the holes. If you had far less rocks and more bare ground it would also help. Or large rocks.

The best way to go would be to have interlocking sections that could be changed rather then a permenent course. I feel a tough rubber foam is the way to go, not only is it light weight, but it is very easy to work with. A few of us could make several sections leave them in our basements and exchange with hobbytowns course sections as the comps and seasons go by. Just a idea although I am a huge fan of the concrete work that was done.

Bridge needs beefing, my c-10 nearly folded it in half.Big Grin

The course really needs some long super steep hills. My scale trucks were able to walk up every hill except the corner near the bridge. I'd like to see a section of hill that looks like a rounded off flight of stairs.

As far as stock:

2.2 tires
Drive shafts:p:
Basic crawler electronics, Brushless motors, ESC's, 2/3a packs and lathe motors.
Axial locker upgrades
Crawler hopups, CVD's, shocks, gear sets.

A narrowed out section down the middle would be useful for smaller scale type rigs.
