here taken from the grid:
The RC8 is a very good buggy. Turns like not other buggy I have driven. Very impressed.
I took my RC8 to the track today. It took a bit to get used to. It
is very responsive in the corners. After a few tanks of gas I was
driving it like I owned it. I'm very happy. I trashed the heck out
of the car and didn't break anything.
I dont find the rear end loose at all and I still run the 16 toothe
clutch bell. Even with Bowties that always feel loose for me the car
actually feels hooked up. I dont drive punched.
Joe u forgot the first part of this post:
My Thoughts about the RC8 kit....
What I like:
The buggy has a bunch of small features I think everyone will enjoy.
Car handles like a dream right out the box, however I did experience a
slight on power push. The rear end can also be a little loose when
getting on the gas, because of the insane acceleration the buggy has.
I really like this buggy...
What I dislike:
The parts you will brake are not available, I broke the steering
ackerman...My buggy has been down for a week and it's looking like it
will be down for another week...The lady I had spoken with at AE was
really rude, when asking her the ETA for the part. You will need to
add diff fluid to the diffs, they are really low in fluid.
Finally got some wheel time in my RC8! It turns in like a dream I mean
very very responsive, it just feels light!
JQ,
Not sure on the weight, but it does feel very light in comparison to
other buggy's.
There are too many little "genious" things to list....they are just
mental notes that I took as I was looking at the car for 2
hours...they were things that I was like "man that makes sense"...
check one out and you will see what im talking about
my favorite thing on the entire car is the radio tray...it all goes
together so perfect with no exposed wires...and looks very clean when
all installed...the little rubber insert to keep the wires from
getting mangled is great...
theres the last two pages should i go back farther?
