Adam Drake Dominates the UK Neo–Buggy Race
When it comes to dominating performances, it doesn’t get much more dominating than Team Losi’s Adam Drake’s recent performance at the Neo Invitational Race held in the UK. Competing against some of the best racers from the USA, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Portugal and the Czech republic, Adam was pushed to the limits in both the 1/8-scale buggy class and the Truggy class. Unfortunately for the competition, Adam brought an unfair advantage with him for both classes: his Team Losi 8IGHT and 8IGHT-T Race Roller chassis.
In qualifying, Adam was the only driver to complete a 9-lap run in the buggy class, following that up by winning the A-main by 3-laps. Just as dominating was his performance in the Truggy class, where he also took the top qualifying position and won the A-Main by a full lap. This victory also marked the first international race win for the awesome new Team Losi 8IGHT-T Race Roller Chassis. This type of performance proves that engineering not only wins—it dominates!
