straight from the press release section on Traxxas' website:
Derived from enthusiastic reception on several RC-centered forums including our own (register for free at Traxxas Online Community - Powered by vBulletin!), Traxxas is proud to present the NEXT generation of pre-painted radio control bodies! Despite predictions including an electric REVO-based monster truck, an electric watercraft, and a vehicle to bring Traxxas into the mini market, Traxxas has made the decision to move from the ProGraphix line of bodies to an even more modernized, forward-thinking paint scheme centric by the brand name NEXT. Although similar to ProGraphix, NEXT bodies will offer several advantages:
-warmer hues of red, orange, and yellow
-deeper shades of blues and purples
-several high-quality metallic and chrome paint colors on top-line models such as JATO, REVO, and Nitro 4-TEC
-more aggressive body designs fitting the high-performance nature Traxxas vehicles have adopted
-the typical Traxxas-brand quality consumers have come to expect
As has been the norm, these bodies will be included on new Traxxas Ready to Run models, beginning November 1, 2007. Pre-finished bodies will be availble for quick and easy 1-color customization beginning November 16, 2007.
