Seriously though, any grown man who lives with his father and displays the kind of behavior your describing is not normal. I have been a mental health clinitian for 9 years and this is textbook. When you say to him,"I dont like to give advice to people who wont take it" he thinks, yeah, neither would I. He does not understand that you are talking about him. If you give him the cold shoulder, he will wait patiently, he just does not have the mental ability to get it. You must be absolutely clear about what you say, He will not be hurt, he likely just does not get it. Otherwise, be ready to enjoy the company of your new best friend.
