Quote:To anyone who had a complaint about any of my marshalling, sorry, I'm a volunteer-in-training. If your truck stalled before we got to it, just remember, it was practice.
Dave, first off, DON'T appologise for your marshalling. There are WAY too many people there who won't marshall, for whatever reason, and in my opinion, THEY have no right at all to complain about the marshalling. You did more than your part by getting out there and marshalling. Props to you for that.
Quote:Jeez those little kids were annoying/helpful/deaf....You could be flipped over right by them and they wouldn't even notice...The boy decided that the best way to get my k2 off the tubing was to kick it so that the rear arm pops out and so does the axle...Great...thanks...Then when it wouldn't move he just let it sit there in the landing of the double....
Revo, Usually, when there are young kids marshalling, it is because their parents want to run, but don't want to put in their time marshalling. They for some reason think it is perfectly fine to watch their kids get hit/hurt trying to help out where they lack the courtesy to do it themselves. I'm not sure which guy you were, but did you marshall? At the old track, with less drivers running at one time, it still got too hectic for for 3-4 marshalls. Now, the track is bigger, and there are twice as many people running at one time, 4 marshalls in nowhere near enough. Again, this is only my opinion, but there should ALWAYS be at least 6 marshalls on the track, and unless that "6-10 year old" kid has a car there to drive, their parents should not send them into the "Warzone"
