Just thesame as Rocco feels (except different team). For the true die hard sox fans, they truely hate the cubs and for the last 80 some years our only satisfaction was the cubs not winning, so for most generations this is instilled in them, the cubs cant win it all. Whenever I go to a Sox game I always see 100's of anti Cub shirts on people at the game. Is there a jelousy issue between the teams, Hell yes there is. People look down on the south side for some reason, but would the cubs sell out every game if they played at Cellular field, the answer would be NO. Dont even bring up the area of Cellular field, put it in Schaumburg andd the Cubs still wouldnt sell out. people go to Wrigley for the field more than the team.
I just do not get that. I have always been a Cubs fan. I was there when they were in the playoffs because I was fortunate enough to have season tickets. I saw the "bartman" fiasco and felt the pain when they lost. (No offense to Bartman, the game was over by that time anyway).
But I have ALWAYS wished the Sox well - except for the crosstown classic games - and root for them with all my heart now! They deserve to win! I also failed to get tickets. Seems like the brokers have the matrix computers working for them. I had 4 people online on 4 phones trying to get seats to no avail.
