since the above photos I've added Road Domes to critical places to keep marshalling and bad crashes from happening.
Essentially it's:
10 foot sections of 3/4 inch PVC
"Swimmie Noodles" bought by the huge case at the Dollar Store. I think I won about 60 of them.
Homemade sandbags. Take inexpensive ripstop dropcloth, cut into aprox 32 inch squares, pour a pile of pea gravel into the middle of it. Fold one edge over and duct tape it. Fold the other edge over and duct tape that and then wrap two times around with another length of duct tape...and you have a sand bag.
We can create an aprox 100foot x 50 foot layout in about 15minutes, if we create a drawing before hand. All the stuff easily fits into the back of the minivan...and all the materials totaled under 250 bucks.
I also have a 3 gallon lawn sprayer with shoulder strap. I use dollar store pancake syrup. Two bottles of it mixed into warm water in the sprayer and use that for traction in the turns.ghb
