scott.....wondering what you use to work on your photos? i tried to get some good shots over by the open garage door but nothing came out clear as yours. will have to keep trying. going to definitely have to get the 50mm lens.
Tim with the D80 right?
I am using Photoshop CS2. One thing you will have to get use to is processing your photos. A point & shoot will do most of that work for you in camera but does but will not produce the kinda of pictures you can get with a good DSLR like the D80. When I go to a place like LH I will usually take about 400+ shots. Of those about half get deleted. Of the 200 or so that are left I work on in PS. Of those I get about a 120 or so usable shots and of those there are only about 15 or 20 that I really like and consider good shots. This whole process for me takes me about 10+ hr and I have been using PS for a few years. There is a little bit of a learning curve here but you will get there if you give it time. Most people think that it is the camera that produces great photos when in reality it is the dude on the other end. If I knew back then what I know I would have gotten better shots with my point & shoot than I did. If you want send me a few of the shots you took and I will take a look at them, fix them up if needed and send them back. Send the full res picture.
