"Medical" Question
#1
Now lets see if I can do this right this time.........

I've got a quick question, as some of you know I sprained my foot at the Naperville store a few weeks back and I'm getting better as time passes. I had a doctors appointment and he suggested getting a lace up ankle brace for the time being till things get better. Anybody know where I can find one in either the West Chicago/St. Charles/Geneva area on in the Fox Valley Mall area. I know there was a sports medicine equipment store next the store front for the old Geneva store on Randall Rd, but it's probably been years since I was there last and actually paid attention to what was there.

Jewel osco has alot of differnt ankle supports. When i tore tendons in my ankles i ended up getting them there... BTW, its a long slow process... Soft tissue injuries are horribly slow to heal. Did the bottom of your foot turn black? Mine did twice!

After I had my knee surgery I bought a knee brace from here and I will never look anyplace else, shipment was super fast and lots of different designs to choose from. And I think the prices that I have found are good

This is the one I got, had it for about 7 months and it's working out great for me.

GOOD GOD NO, mine didn't turn black! With diabetes running in my family, I'd have panicked for sure on that one:eek: I wasn't too sure on if I could find that stuff at a regular store/pharmacy (it's been almost 9 years since I left the Osco in West Chicago and I haven't kept up on that sort of thing since then). I'm going over to the Fox Valley Meijer after work tonight, maybe I'll look while there.

Thanks for the responses guysConfusedalute:
