Airhogs Havoc Heli

kevinF Wrote:put brand new regular AA's and try it agian, i can get 10-12 minutes easily

They were, he bought them along with the heli. I think his battery might need some more time on it, or it might just be a little bit of a dud.

It's charging now and I'm gonna time it to see how long it runs for, but I know Matt's (Ponch's) got at least another 3-5 minute of flight.

His would still be able to climb good, mine would just hover a few inches off the ground and wouldn't go up.

Yeah. THis new heli sucks ass. I get 4 minutes per charge of useable time (aka actually goes up/down). Hopefully some new batts will solve that, or off I go to WalMart again.

Mine goes about 10 minutes on a charge. Also I put the thumbtack right in the nose, didn't hit the battery. As for it spinning wildly check the tail rotor or the little wing on the back it might be bent to one side.

Yes it was the tail blade. And today ponch modded the shyt out of his heli, he cut alot of the foam away, and did a bunch more stuff to the main blades.

I have been beating on it all day long! The kids just drove it like a rented mule. Now it only holds a charge for about 5 min, likely because the battery never got the 10 min rest between flights. Oh well. I got a 2 pack lazer tage set on the x-mas list!

I read that taking off to much foam makes it really hard to control and really wobbly in flight!

I've been using mine to piss off my dogs, they hate it because when they do finally get a hold of it, it bites them back!!!

Actually, his is alot smoother and flys straighter. I want to do that but i want the option of exchanging it too at walmart.

Yep. I took a large chunk out of the back half of the body. Then I lowered the main rotor assy about 1/4 inch. I had to grind down the little metal shaft that the rotor rides on, and then I took off some plastic from the bottom of the rotor where the shaft goes in so it can sit lower without hitting the big gear. Quiet as HELL and has more steering, rises faster, got slightly longer runtimes too I bet.

You can return it, or look on ebay.

If you look on ebay, look for Picooz Picoo Z Piccoz Picco Z Havoc

All will return stuff... All the same thing.

If it's that top prop thingy thats F'd and all it is is a chip on the edge, ask KevinF how he dremeled his. It worked great after, but I didn't quite pay attention to what he did all that well.
