got a tmaxx 2.5 out of ebay and got it tuned and running (which was a real bitch compared to my savage.) i was making good runs then suddenly heard a stripping sound. wasn't sure if it was the slipper...

went thru my mt last night and rechecked the slipper clutch, sanded the slipper disk abit just to roughen it slightly even went thru all the trouble of placing my spare tranny, well just in case you k...

just replaced the slipper clutch last night and it was pretty bad. that is why i thought that my troubles were over but i was wrong. to recap everything that has been done, replaced the slipper clutch...

yes it does spin but when you give it more power, thats when the slipping occurs and it wont go nowhere

just took off the shoes and the clutch nut is tight as can be. could not even turn it. i'm going back to the tranny just in case i missed som:confused: ething.

i just changed my clutch shoes into mugens figuring that it might be the clutch slipping but to no avail but i will gladly oblige your recommendation. thanks again

thanks for all your advice guys. checked my wheel hexes, a ok, then pulled out the tranny and replaced slipper clutch and tighen it as instructed. went thru thw whole tranny as well and everything ch...

thanks for the advice. diff are newly converted to 4 bevel but the other stuff i guess i would have to check. appreciate your info:salute:

me and my buddies were messing around a baseball field doing some jumps and stuff when i noticed my savage 25 like reving up and loosing speed. thought that my wheels were just slipping thru the grass...
