Customization and trucks go hand and hand. If you're rolling a stock truck you're not really into the whole truck scene. Savage owners have lots of options to turn the stocker into something more creative. HPI is now offering budding custome truckers the ability to customize their chassi with a pair of anodized chassis. But these aren't your regular one color jobs, but a two-tone with flame anodizing. It's currently available in two color combos.

I'm all about performance, if it doesn't boost performance, it's a waste of money. If the performance parts happen to make it look better in the process, that's just an added bonus. just my opinion.

The next upgrade I'm buying is a JR XS3 radio setup. After that I want to buy an RS300 receiver for everything I run.

Good move.

I agree, that is a good decision. The only exception I would suggest, is to get RS310 Recievers. If you get the 300's, there is a voltage limiter on the battery input, which limits the battery to 4.8-5 volts, the 310's do not do this. A quick fix with the 300's, is to Plug the battery into an unused channel (ex. AUX), or if all channels are used, you can get a "Y" splitter and plug the battery and your "3rd channel" into the splitter then plug into the AUX port.

Again, all this can be avoided, by getting the 310 recievers instead, which are the same price.

Get 2 XS3's, then you can run any 2 models at the same time (you and the kid). Just dial em in!
I'm shopping for Rado #2 right now. Anyone got a spare radio cheap?

Mich, radio and 2 rx's? make me a deal, buddy.
