On-Road Meet/Racing 08-20 - RCDad - 08-16-2005

I'd like to head out to AJ's Saturday, they have practice from 9 am to 7 pm. Talked to the guy this morning, sounds like a little better setup than Tinley, they have more there as far as pitt area.

I'll have my canopy which anyone is welcome to get under, however, my table is pretty small. If you hang out with me be prepared, my kids love to talk Big Grin

AJ's charges $7.00 to practice.

That's awesome but there is a CSRC bash on Sat the 20th at Devry. People run on-roads in the devry parking lot while the off-roaders go across the street to the jumps.

AJ's...soon to be Intense Racway...has the best outdoor onroad track in the area...probably even the Midwest.

They have a dedicated purpose built outdoor onroad track. Not a converted parking lot. The track is also very forgiving on cars for those who are still learning. All the corners are break-a-way as well as the actual borders.

Nexus, what exactly should I bring there?

AJ's has the indoor area open during practice and racing...

So if you don't want to setup the canopy and chairs just pit inside. They have lighting and power inside. Maybe just bring a power strip.

If you pit outside I would bring the canopy, table, chair(s), extension cord, and power strip. They do have wooden table tops outside and power hookups but it seem most people prefer to just pit inside.
