Pipe recomendations/ buggy - Obsessive R/C - 08-07-2005

I was hoping to get some opinions on a good pipe for a RB WS7...

Currently I'm running an Ofna 063

I have a RB ERFA-9863 that I can try or I was looking at a JP-1

If anyone has any other tips they would like to offer feel free...

I like my Os 2050 its more of a low-mid pipe, but makes engine way more economical on fuel. I run it on my 777 with a P5x.

I run a Jp1 on my 528 in my lsp and it is a very good pipe also, I htink it allows more tope end than my OS.

Are you looking for more top/mid or low end

I was leaning towards low end, this motor seems pretty strong mid to top.

If you want to spend around $60 I would go with the Jp1.
If you want to spend around $100 get the Os.

Like I said both are great and super strong stingers, OS is a little lighter and makes my vehicle a little more fuel economic.

Your RB 9863 is a low end pipe, I would try that... Is it a one piece or two piece RB pipe?

I've heard a lot of good things about the Power Racing pipes..

053 pipe.. mid low end.

and 086.. mid high pipe..

but you can't go wrong with the JP pipes or any Novarossi/RB pipe.

It's a 2-piece

If your running a RB WS7, I highly recommend running a RB,NR,Top, or REX 086 pipe, or 053 pipe. You are running a high end motor and it deserves a high end pipe. Those motors are not tuned for low end, because all the tracks in europe call for top end with not many jumps, therefor low-end torque is not something they need. If you want to get some bottom you must tune your clutch. You didnt post what kind of car you have or what clutch you are running. I recommend running the 1.1 springs, aluminum shoes, and maybe even drill a small 1/16 hole in the shoes to lighten them alittle for a later engagement. If your using carbon shoes do the same. This has been a good set-up for RB users.
