Im not sure if I mentioned this before but since I was in Chicago last it might be something you guys would be intrested it. A couple of years ago the company came into Westlfield plaze in hawthorn Illinois. Thats near libertyville. Anyways. They started the way to mainline RC into the mall. Basically you can get an RC18B or T replicas and build them right there in the store, but even better is you can choose the shell and wheels, even as much as the motors and electronics and after they are built you can race them against other people. Its mainly for the kids. But for as little as $59.00 buys you an full rc with radio and batteries to boot. and you can upgrade it to bigger and better gear. I purchased one for my wife a couple of years ago and it was, or shall I say IS the exact same thing as an RC 18T minus the Associated name brand. As a amtter a fact I have since then added alot of Associated aftermarket gear on it for myself. It all fits right on and cost less then the real deal. Here is the website if you want to check it out, The store is kinda cool idea.
