Does anyone have any experience with these? Every thing I've read has said that they are truly great mills and NOT sport engines. But man they are so cheap. I know usually you get what you pay for but I have not heard one bad thing about them. Just wanted to know if I'm missing anything.

Go Tech Engines. - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 09-11-2007

Go Tech Engines. - Casketman - 09-11-2007

I have heard they are good motors. But no other details

Go Tech Engines. - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 09-11-2007

never really seen any run around here

Go Tech Engines. - blktransam - 09-11-2007

a few guys ran them in waterloo and they hauld ass...they take a while to break in like a gallon before you are suppose to lean into them...

Go Tech Engines. - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 09-11-2007

its like that on every motor

Go Tech Engines. - slaytanic - 09-11-2007

I just can't figure out why the price is so good but everyone raves about them. They have a 28 out now as well as the 21's. I think they have a 5 port and a 7 port "pro" version. You can pick up the pro for like 160!

some people love um and the others just don't know because of no experience with them........

It may be worth the risk in buying one..............it's could backfire on you though and you may end up with a paperweight

Go Tech Engines. - chickenfarmer3 - 09-12-2007

Well since you asked, I've got a little over 5 gallons on my Go Tech 5 port with an 086 pipe and it still rips, fires up instantly, never flames out, and holds a tune beautifully. I changed the rod ($18.50) at the 4 gallon mark even though it didn't really seem to need it.

Mike, you've seen my buggy run several times and you know it's just as fast as anything else out there. I only wish I could get another minute out of it on a 125 ml tank. I'm getting 7:30 mins pretty consistently but need 8+ to feel safe pitting once in a 15 min. main.

I am getting the turbo head 7 port soon and using an Dynamite 053 pipe with it. They say it has a little softer bottom end and even more top with better fuel economy.

The 5 port has a bit too much bottom end for a Losi buggy but would is awesome in the truggy.

Plenty of additional info is available at: Official Go-Tech Engines Thread - R/C Tech Forums

Go Tech Engines. - slaytanic - 09-12-2007

Thanks Bruce! I appreciate the info. Have you heard anything about the 28?

Go Tech Engines. - BruceEdwards - 09-12-2007

Not a lot of info on the .28 yet but since the US and Australian importers are both very active on the Go Tech thread you can get the best info there.

Go Tech Engines. - rocco79 - 09-19-2007
