i am able to lay the trans on its side to lower the cog ant because it is wider i can lay the shocks down more and still be stable.

Why did you even buy the whole truck and not just buy the parts for the crawler? lol

Looks good. I wish I had the skills to do something like that.

Sweet dude That looks sick. Makes me wish I still had my 2.2 tlt or Super clod. Any chance you can make me a part out of that cf only about an inch big.

Why make it that wide and mount the tranny/motor like that? That driveshaft angle is as bad as a Losi...

I mean great custom work and all, I'm sure it took alot of work...But yeah...

the angle of the shafts doesn't effect it at all. its not like I'm trying to set a speed record.

When speed isn't an issue, you can do a lot more with the angles. As long as nothing binds up, at any angle of the suspension, it will work. I think it looks great.

In my opinion, keep an eye out for the axial parts to start arriving, and throw an axial trans in there. The lighter weight, and smaller size will keep the weight more evenly centered in the chassis. But 'till then, I think this will really help with the "High center" issues.

i have also finally got the gears in it. and for the anther crawlers, i have found a way to save the pigs from getting beaten and battered. i split the axle case and put a piece of paper between them. then coat the bottom and front of the diff case with jb weld. then just trim the paper tight to the case. it will allow you to still be able to take it apart if you have to.
