when i was looking for a engine people were tellin me the werks engines were good but lately ive been hearing about them having bearing issues and conrod issues. should i avoid the werks engine and go with a nova.

Well.....

How do i say this...... hmmmm, yeaaaaaaaah...... Go Novarossi. You really cant complain about the Grand Daddy in this game. Nova is the king in this game if you ask me....

if its italian quality, power and reliability your looking for id also look into RB and Ninja/Mugen.

I hate saying it but vspecs are pretty sweet too. I hear the drake line of motors are nice too... They are piccos .

I wouldnt touch a werks motor with a 10ft pole.
(sorry czech)

rb, vspec, nova.....I would stay away from werks, IF..and that is a big IF...you get a good one they will fly, IF you can get it tuned.

ok cool. looks like a nova it will be

wich one should i gey for my buggy

Novarossi Plus Hot Mod .21 5-Port Engine - RC Engines

Novarossi Hot Mod .21 Rear Exhaust 5 Port Engine - RC Engines

Novarossi 21 Long Stroke Engine - RC Engines

do i really need a modded one.

i would go with the unmodded p5x, i have ran a few of these and there is no need to get it modded, it may get better gas mileage and be a little smoother but i would save your money and get the stocker dude.

ok thanks i guess that will be the one i will get

werks engines? reliable? - chickenfarmer3 - 08-31-2007

chad is right.
I run p5x novas in my truggy and its more than enough and the most important part is that the fuel milage is good with them.
