looks spooky but there is no tornado in the pics... I had those low out of shape clouds at my house as well

I couldn't tell you what it looked liked around here because we got out early of school because of PSAE testing and I was passed out on my couch. LOL

The one on the left (behind the tree) definitely could be.... hard to tell. More likely a funnel cloud that never touched down but you can't really tell without being there.

What you said. When I took the pic it was starting to come down (I watched it for about 30sec) then I took a pic of it (well 2 different pic's, about 5 sec apart). I pretty sure it didn't touch down (at lease that one didn't). If I would have taken a pic about 5-10sec earlier I would of had a very good pic of it coming down. However there was one that did touch down about 4-6miles south west of where I live (it might be in the news there), but it didn't last very long. Where I live there was nothing damaged.

That was def a funnel cloud behind the tree! The cloud hanging down in front of funnel cloud is called a "wall cloud" and they are usually followed by a tornado.(got a buddy who is studying to be a meteorologist so we go chasing every so often!) Yesterday would have been cool, if I wasn't working!

That sounds like some fun (and a lot of wasted gas just missing some cool weather). Something I would want to just ride along with an experienced chaser to see.

Why am i not suprised that every year on our first major storm of spring everyone thinks they see a tornado?(yes i do understand there was ONE, maybe two) i dont believe thats a tornado in the pic.And with all the trees in the way on the left side there no way of anyone being able to tell.I think its just odd shaped low clouds like tex said.
