Ready for some on-road action - Obsessive R/C - 06-26-2005 This is my first stab at an on-road project...RS4 3evo Ready for some on-road action - RCDad - 06-26-2005 Beautiful!! I had one, was dumb enough to trade it. It had a .18 O.S. engine. Look forward to seeing more of your's. Here is what mine looked like; Ready for some on-road action - Obsessive R/C - 06-26-2005 Nice car...the engine in mine is the stock .15 but that is about the only stock piece left. It probably won't be there long the way I've been going. Ready for some on-road action - Tex - 06-26-2005 I bet with that cvrx 18 in that rs4 it was real fast. My t-maxx is fast with that motor, I can only imagine a on-road Ready for some on-road action - RCDad - 06-26-2005 I hope to see your's in person some day, I never saw mine actually run. Ready for some on-road action - Tex - 06-26-2005 I just sold mine to sikntired, you'll never see it. lol Ready for some on-road action - thenewguy821 - 06-26-2005 Obsesive, If you want more speed, you can go with the .18 mentioned, or if you think you may want to race it (since Leisure is making an on-road track as well) you may want to look into the Sirio .12. Firesprink can tell you the engine model. He has the Sirio .12 in his Associated TC3, and runs away from his friends RS4 with the .15 Ready for some on-road action - Tex - 06-27-2005 I believe it's the Sirio.EVO .12 outlaw and it's not legal for racin (technically) Ready for some on-road action - Michowski - 06-27-2005 or you can get this http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJFY9&P=ML. I cant remember if it was this exact os engine but it supposedly peaks out at over 45,000 rpm and makes killer power for stadium and street cars. Ready for some on-road action - Tex - 06-27-2005 $$$$$$$$ Ready for some on-road action - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 06-27-2005 Are those HG aluminum wheels? Ready for some on-road action - Obsessive R/C - 06-27-2005 Damn...$230.00 ... sure would be cool though I was thinking more like this...http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHLW1&P=7 Dave...Yes, they are HG aluminum wheels. Ready for some on-road action - Tex - 06-27-2005 awe, get a real TC engine in that bad boy!....You can't beat a hot little .12 in a TC I would go the extra $50 for the os.12tz if i was thinking about the $180 18tm already. Since that is a side exhaust car, have you thought about the os18cvrx? it is a killer motor for $99. Your exhaust will bolt right up. I think that would be the best buy. I just sold mine tonight with full exhaust system for $80, had a gallon on it. My neighbor dropped it right into his t-maxx tonight and ran it and it ripped hard. Ready for some on-road action - snakebite46 - 06-27-2005 Nice rides guys. Put a Novarossi in it and call it a day. =) Ready for some on-road action - Tex - 06-27-2005 snakebite46 Wrote:Put a Novarossi in it and call it a day that would ultimately be the best bet. Why fool around with other motors when you can just drop the best in there and be done with it. Ready for some on-road action - Obsessive R/C - 06-27-2005 .18 cvrx was my first choice cause it was an easy drop in...thought maybe there was something better but... Ready for some on-road action - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 06-28-2005 Are you planning to run those wheels and tires or are they just for show? I ask because I have a pair of HG's and the HPI tires don't seem to fit them real well. It's like the wheel diameter is just a mm too small. How are yours fitting? Are those HPI tires? Ready for some on-road action - Obsessive R/C - 06-28-2005 Oh no, they're not for show...I run them. They have some nicks to prove it. I am also running HPI tires(super radials I think?) they seem to fit fine, although I did have to re-glue them after some high speed slides (peeled one right off) Ready for some on-road action - RCDad - 06-29-2005 Can't wait to see a vid of that thing scream down the road Ready for some on-road action - chicagokenji - 06-30-2005 [QUOTE=Tex]awe, get a real TC engine in that bad boy!....You can't beat a hot little .12 in a TC I would go the extra $50 for the os.12tz QUOTE] I recently put the TZ and a new pipe in Coop's NTC3, and it's a screamer. We're heading to AJ's this Saturday to kick some DaVito butt.
