Bowflex is good for hanging clothes on! WTB Bowflex revolution - HAGASAN - 03-30-2007 Yeah, ive read alot of reviews about there equipment, and most of it was bad. Except the reviews on this one, they were pretty good, not sure if they were fake or not. I want something that doesnt weigh alot and is able to foldup out of the way. WTB Bowflex revolution - Rawkfist_02 - 03-30-2007 Why not just get like a Cardnial Fitness pass or something WTB Bowflex revolution - Tex - 03-30-2007 Rawkfist_02 Wrote:Why not just get like a Cardnial Fitness pass or something it's so much easier to workout without having to go to the health club. When stuff is at home it's convenient. WTB Bowflex revolution - Michowski - 03-30-2007 true dat WTB Bowflex revolution - Sh1nn3r - 03-30-2007 You wont get the same work out with the box flex compared to free weights. Free weights you are hitting multiple muscle fibers at one time. Free weights such as dumbbells and medicine balls are better training for body building. You can create much more specificity of training by using free weight than with machines. Machines build muscles that you use mainly in the gym. With free weights is that you will develop better balance. Machines require no balance at all - you sit down, strap yourself in and push. Balance training is an essential part of lifting. Machines do have a place in rehab and training, when movement speed, direction and control is desired. Machines are also useful for novice exercisers who may need a very structured program of movement to build some very basic strength. Just hit the free weights bro. WTB Bowflex revolution - chickenfarmer3 - 03-30-2007 see there.....the man that knows has spoke.... WTB Bowflex revolution - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-30-2007 the only thing from bowflex i would consider getting is there dumbell set where you can turn the dial for the desired weight. Seems like a really nice setup to save space. Gold's Gym also has a similar set. Joe i figured ud be pretty ripped by now from carrying all those garbage cans full of lawn clippings to the pick up truck that you and ur 9 cousins arrived in WTB Bowflex revolution - HAGASAN - 03-30-2007 Dumbass. I go to cardinal fitness now, and i dont have the room for free weights in the town house. I used to have a whole gym at my dads house years ago, still have most of the weights there. free weights are nice but i find them to be too limiting when you dont have a workout partner, you cant safely push yourself like you can with a machine. Also, with my back condition, free weights are too stressfull in some workout situations. I have to be very carefull on how and what i lift (trust me, i learned my limits the hard way through trial and error weight lifting) Controlled workout movements are the best for me and my injury. I just want something to have at home for when i get morning workout before getting ready for work. I may go out and get another elliptical machine as they work excellent, i sold my old one to Chad because i wanted one with alittle more options. I swear by those things. I bet Chad will have it forsale soon though by the way he changes his mind, too much money does that. WTB Bowflex revolution - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-30-2007 back condition right man up pussy! ill take ur free weights if u dont want em WTB Bowflex revolution - HAGASAN - 03-30-2007 For what?
