How do you know when you have to replace the brushes on yoour motor???????

usually the motor will run erratic if it works at all. If you have to "push start" it to get the motor working, you need brushes.

If u goto pick up the truck and u burn your hand on the motor u need new brushes.

When the motor stops working. I once wore a set of brushes down to less than a 1/8 inch they where still working. It was a nub with a shunt
I have some pictures of the brushes if anybody wants to see.Now a days if I see them get to a 1/4 or so long I replace them.

thanks. i was wondering because my xxxt has been going slow lately. maybe its my battery iono ill figure it out. ty
