Os Speed V-spec - HAGASAN - 01-27-2007

I hope you jags get stuck with those motors. No warranty, no thanks. That'll teach ya to buy with your brains and not your eyes. Those motors are a copy of the EB mods versions, they copied EB's mods from him when he did all that work for Great Plains last year and they try to pass it off as there own.

Ebay should move them well for you tho.

Os Speed V-spec - rocco79 - 01-27-2007

Os Speed V-spec - HAGASAN - 01-27-2007

Sorry, but your wrong punkazz. The engine mod was copied. Now go blow off the cheeze dust from your keyboard. Smile

Os Speed V-spec - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-27-2007

how is it copied? maybe the porting, but how could the balancing and all that be copied? Ed didnt use those plugs or hardcoat the crank, or use a mag head. Joe its snowing again, time to go back to work eh Wink lmao

Os Speed V-spec - Casketman - 01-28-2007

The pictures show what has been done. Ed doesnt go as far as OS did. They did some of the same mods and then went farther.

Os Speed V-spec - chickenfarmer3 - 01-28-2007

Cranks look very different from eb mods, speed, and standard vspec

Os Speed V-spec - Ponch - 01-29-2007

Quick Q.

Would there be noticeable benefits to putting the OS Speed Crankshaft in a regular old Vspec? It seems like there would be benefits to it, but would it have any ill effects on an otherwise stock engine?

Os Speed V-spec - rocco79 - 01-29-2007

Uh yeah.. I bet you could just buy another vspec for what that crank would cost you

Os Speed V-spec - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-29-2007

it would give the motor more top end, not incredibly noticeable tho; but it WILL balance your motor a good deal more and increase longevity on rod and bearings

Os Speed V-spec - Ponch - 01-29-2007

Ok so more top end because it's lighter? Or...

And I can see how the engine would last longer, because of there being less vibration.

What does the tungsten slug do for the crankshaft? Just lighten it?

Os Speed V-spec - rocco79 - 01-29-2007

balances it, tungsten is very heavy

Os Speed V-spec - Ponch - 01-29-2007

Gotcha.

Os Speed V-spec - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 01-29-2007

the plugs are used to balance and counter weight the cuts made on the crank. You will get better top end using that crank because it is lightened first off all, and with the silicon fill they did the fuel flow will be directed more directly into the case giving you more efficiency and more power

Os Speed V-spec - chickenfarmer3 - 01-29-2007

buy this ponch Smile
