I just read this story http://www.nbc5.com/news/4524443/detail.html?z=dp&dpswid=2265994&dppid=65172. At what point did this guy tell himself to get back behind the wheel drunk?

I saw this story yesterday on the news. Some people just never learn I guess.

Yeah I never even come close to risking it. Drunk driving is bad.

I live in Naperville where this all happened. So it scares me to think that, first of all, this man is so messed up he continues to lead a self-destructive life, and that secondly, he chooses to make the same choice he made years ago, which cost the life of a friend. He could have easliy been out on the same roads as me and my family. Heavy traffic and the related accidents are bad enough in DuPage county without habitual drunk drivers added to the mix.

Now he faces 14 years in prison.

They say the best lessons are those we learn the hard way. I hope this young man has learned his. If he doesn't go to jail, he definately needs his driving privileges revoked for life. He can take the bus. Or better yet, maybe one of his drunk friends can drive him home.
