Official Car Audio Thread - Tex - 12-20-2006 Eric is close to 30 and Married, your like 18 or something. That's the difference. I'm sure Eracers car is fully insured Official Car Audio Thread - FreeRideFrosty - 12-20-2006 daven75 Wrote:lol im making it for my room, so yea. lol No wiring diagram for car audio will help you then. The biggest difference is that car audio is no alternating current.... which your house is. I have no idea how you would wire car audio into a house. Buy home audio and save the car audio for the cars. Official Car Audio Thread - daven75 - 12-20-2006 lol i would but, i love the sound of a nice sub, and i cant get that without spending about $450 on a house sound system. do u have a wireing diagram for a car, two tweeters and 1 sub? Official Car Audio Thread - FreeRideFrosty - 12-23-2006 It is my amp. It needs bigger balls. :-( Ian (Koz's Mugen) and I were messing around with my stereo. It was clipping at higher frequencies and high volumes. (Not bottoming out) We actually turned the gain down on my amp until it wouldn't clip at all at high volumes. It is now louder and clearer. I'm sure a higher powered amp would do the trick and really push this sub.... Official Car Audio Thread - badmojo - 12-27-2006 man eric I really like that diamond plate effect for the floor boards on that one car, is that hard to do, that would look killer in my blazer Official Car Audio Thread - Eracer76 - 12-28-2006 Tex Wrote:Eric is close to 30 and Married, your like 18 or something. That's the difference. Yep, I am 30, and married for 8 years. Ive been with State Farm since I was 16 and I have my house, two cars, the boat, and my wife's rings all insured with full coverage.... I get good discounts now Official Car Audio Thread - Eracer76 - 12-28-2006 badmojo Wrote:man eric I really like that diamond plate effect for the floor boards on that one car, is that hard to do, that would look killer in my blazer I actually didnt make them, the customer bought them that way, pre cut and bent to fit the car. Im not sure where he bought them from though. I just did all the stereo, video and fiberglass work Official Car Audio Thread - badmojo - 12-28-2006 the stereo's were killer to man, I installed my hu in my truck, and my wifes car, no amps or extra speakers yet as that take's $$ I don't have right now, but my system sounds pretty good for factory speakers Official Car Audio Thread - cemeb4dk - 12-28-2006 Hey does any one need a rockford fosgate 3001 mono amp. It is brand new in the box, I can look at the birth cert for it and get all the actual numbers. I bought it last spring at best buy for like 150 and nver took it out of the box. If anyone is interested shoot me a pm. Official Car Audio Thread - goat585 - 12-28-2006 Does any one have extra 4 gauge cable around 15-20 feet and a fuse holder lying around that they would like to get rid of? If so let me know. Thanks Official Car Audio Thread - FreeRideFrosty - 12-28-2006 You could PM Koz's Mugen.... I think he was talking of running 0/1 guage. I am not sure how soon he is doing it, but if he does, he will have 4 guage with a fuse holder. Official Car Audio Thread - Racin' Ranger1 - 03-27-2007 well i got 2 of these subs http://www.amazon.com/Dual-XS10-450-Watt-Subwoofer/dp/B00012O6U2 i want to put in my truck and i have this amp http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=2168514 will this amp run one of the subs for now? any one have a old amp that will run both these subs? and what else do i need to wire this into my truck? Thanks Official Car Audio Thread - UE-Maxx - 03-27-2007 Someone correct me if I am wrong but that sub is 450 watts and that amp is only 200 watts. It might work, but it won't hit as hard because it isn't supplying enough juice. Go to a flea market. You can get some really good deals there, and from what I hear, you can get a "warranty" from some of the guys. Official Car Audio Thread - Racin' Ranger1 - 03-27-2007 i dont want full out shake the chit out of my truck power just a bit of thump. i have the 375 watt max one not the 450 thats where i got this stuff at is a pawn shop got the 2 subs and the amp for 40 bucks the subs are almost brand new Official Car Audio Thread - MX_KEVIN - 03-28-2007 I got some power cable in my truck if you need some. Come check it out. Another reason to "get your ass out there". lol Official Car Audio Thread - chickenfarmer3 - 03-28-2007 LOL@ kevin Official Car Audio Thread - Racin' Ranger1 - 03-28-2007 ill talk to you on msn later. Official Car Audio Thread - Ponch - 04-03-2007 How well would something like this work in our expedition? My parents will NOT give up trunk space for a sub but I bet if I got something like this they wouldn't mind as much. What else would I have to get to make this work or is it drop it in and it works? http://cgi.ebay.com/MTX-THUNDERFORM-FORD-EXPEDITION-NAVIGATOR-SUB-BOX-W-10_W0QQitemZ140100642155QQcategoryZ50565QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Official Car Audio Thread - Traxxas_Junkee - 04-03-2007 this is RR what are you talking about "something like this" ?? Official Car Audio Thread - Ponch - 04-03-2007 Click the link. Official Car Audio Thread - Traxxas_Junkee - 04-03-2007 you do have the nets right there or do you have the speakers there like mine? Official Car Audio Thread - Ponch - 04-03-2007 They're like little baskets. Probably easy to remove, no speakers. Official Car Audio Thread - Traxxas_Junkee - 04-03-2007 yes itll work but you still need an amp, power cable ground cable speaker cables Official Car Audio Thread - Ponch - 04-03-2007 Damn.
