I can't install a clutch without it now. clutch installing suggestions - metallihockey88 - 12-04-2006 is there any possible way i could install a clutch without the tool casue i can wait, haha...just picked up a hyper 7 pro and a p5x and am absolutely dying to get it goin clutch installing suggestions - Savyboy - 12-05-2006 Yeah I agree that Sportworks clutch tool is a SAVIOR! clutch installing suggestions - Thirdgen89GTA - 12-08-2006 A thin flat head with a strong handle would help. I'm not saying its easy, you'll probably swear at it for quite a while. clutch installing suggestions - satoch - 12-08-2006 Again, you can use a screwdriver but it sucks. I've used both the Sportwerks tool and the Ofna clutch tool and the Ofna tool is much easier and it serves both functions for half the price. clutch installing suggestions - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 12-08-2006 the sport werks tool removes shoes also nothin like stabbing urself with a screwdriver a few times clutch installing suggestions - Thirdgen89GTA - 12-08-2006 I don't think removing clutch shoes is hard at all, I can usually get them off in about 2 minutes. Its just installing without a tool that takes a bit of time and patience. clutch installing suggestions - satoch - 12-08-2006 Have either of you tried both tools? clutch installing suggestions - Ponch - 12-08-2006 Nope just SW, no reason to change if it works perfectly fine. clutch installing suggestions - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 12-08-2006 yes clutch installing suggestions - Biodragen - 12-08-2006 I have The SW tool is more simple to use. The Ofna tool looks more complicated to use. For me I have the SW tool and never use it anymore. I use the truty ol rigid screwdriver and I do not find it that hard to do. clutch installing suggestions - metallihockey88 - 12-08-2006 geez, i bought both tools and me being thr tard i am i jsut cant seem to figure out how they work, so i just sat down and put all 3 shoes on in about 4 min, i couldnt believe it clutch installing suggestions - Ponch - 12-08-2006 Yep you'll get faster every time you put them on/take them off. |
