Maxx Speed Design - Tex - 10-20-2006 He still runs MaxSpeed, he just doesn't do RC related decals anymore, probably full size for real race cars! Maxx Speed Design - Rob Kass - 10-20-2006 Tim Kasper designs does it all for rc Joey. Not sure what his website is but he races at LH all the time and he is there for practice alot during the week. LH website can help you out better to get ahold of him. Maxx Speed Design - Tex - 10-20-2006 guaranteegraffix.com is where I got my stickers Maxx Speed Design - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 10-20-2006 panthermotorsportsdesign.com last i heard the guy was selling the machines so i doubt hes doing anythhing Maxx Speed Design - ghosty - 10-24-2006 www.kasperdesigns.com Maxx Speed Design - RytM1 - 10-26-2006 Tex, he doesn't even run MaxSpeed anymore. He completely closed that down. He now runs a place called Finish Product, geared towards a more commercial client. Maxx Speed Design - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 10-26-2006 u get ur money back holmes? Maxx Speed Design - RytM1 - 10-27-2006 I have been credited the money so far, and he claims he is going to reprint the order, but it has been a month since that conversation. He won't return phone calls and now a lady answers the phone and says he will be in after 5-5:30PM. I may have to look him up in two weeks while I'm out in the Rockford area. Maxx Speed Design - Tex - 10-27-2006 you HAVE or haven't received your money back? Above it says you got your money back, that's good to see! Maxx Speed Design - Brian_BigSquidRC - 10-28-2006 The guy who 'used' to own Max Speed (scott..somthing) now works for Great Planes/Hobbico. I saw him at the iHobby show, and we chatted a bit. He sold off the company to someone else, and apparently they screwed it all up. Oh well. I had http://www.kasperdesigns.com/ do my track banner.. and it turned out great. Maxx Speed Design - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 10-28-2006 ya scott cramer, he never owned the company jsut ran it for someone else, it was screwed up well before he left lol Maxx Speed Design - Michowski - 10-28-2006 I dont think so Mike. He ran an awesome place. I remember I waited a week before the pro series and put my order in friday and had it at my door monday morning. Wing numbers, body numbers, name sheet. Thats service if you ask me. Maxx Speed Design - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 10-28-2006 mmmhmmm and to get u ur stuff he screwed over about 10 people lol he gave a bunch of guys deals on stuff and took on a ton of work that he couldnt deal with there were alotta pissed off people Maxx Speed Design - RytM1 - 10-29-2006 Tex, I DID get my money back by disputing it with the CC company. I think Scott's problem was that he was pretty much the ONLY "sticker guy" in the market at the time and was getting overwhelmed. I think a lot of these others started throwing their hats into the RC market after hearing complaints about MaxSpeed, as well as the fact that some smaller vinyl graphics shops were not able to print on vinyl yet. My grahics guy that I deal with for some of my masks, only cut vinyl designs up until about a year ago, when he purchased something like a 36" printer for vinyl, and from what I hear, its not cheap. A couple of months later, he invested in a laminator. He may be who I go with for my name stickers and such now, being that he is local. THe only problem for guys like me and Mikey is finding someone to do the reverse printed logos for the inside of the bodies. Cramer told me how to do it, but its hard to find guys who print on vinyl, that use white ink. |
