a few options... - north_shore_racer - 10-05-2006 i have a few offers on the revo roller that i got from astro, well almost roller parts truck, i dont know which one i should go woth so i figured id at least see what people think would be best. Kyosho mp-5 buggy, RTR minus servos 3 bodies mgt rtr and a tmaxx roller, tmaxx appears to be missing a few small things but id prolly sell it anyways. Tamiya TNX no radio, i havent talked to the person about this one so i dont have pics but he made an offer so i figured id add it in. I'll slap some pics up later today when i get a free period to do so. Which one would you take? im leaning towards the mp-5, but can it take a beating? Probably going to be a basher with the possibility of racing, but bashing is my main concern now. Thanks John a few options... - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-05-2006 TNX is a good truck...might be worth a look. a few options... - Traxxas_Junkee - 10-05-2006 The only truck I have experience up there with is the T-maxx, I also have never heard of the buggy who makes it? But I think I would lean towards the buggy. a few options... - north_shore_racer - 10-05-2006 more info on the maxx and MGT MGT: rpm a-arms alum shock bodies alum body mounts alum steering blocks cyclone air filter new body was cut out never ran neon lights XTM 24.7 Motor Maxx: t-maxx has rear locker forward only tran i never ran it after i put it in extra shock drive shafts extra trans case and gears i dont no what is all with tran parts i started to put steel axles on it i have them on rear the front still have stock it needs brake rod that goes on tran to work the brake the front body mount is broke but i might have one of them the body is getting ruff i think that is it the tran is not in but if u want me to put it in i will thanks. (as quoted from email) Heres my Other Option. I have a kyosho MP-5 comes with: good Ofna Hyper 21 8 port with pull start Associated receiver and radio no servos 3 bodies ran one race crimefighters on dish wheels set of old stock kyosho tires/rims extra: a-arms, driveshaft, other misc. parts pipe Loading pics into photobucket then i'll have em posted shortly there after. PICS Thats the MAXX, seems ok condition minus having the locker in the rear that im not so much a fan of, seems like it could use a few parts and then its a roller. but im not planning on keeping it anyways, probably resell it or hop it up and give it to my brother. Thats the MGT with the hopups as noted before, both the maxx and the mgt together have been offered as a trade. Theres pics of the MP-5 all that as a package is included in a trade for the Revo stuff. a few options... - Traxxas_Junkee - 10-05-2006 I say the buggy. a few options... - maxximum_44 - 10-05-2006 Traxxas_Junkee Wrote:I also have never heard of the buggy who makes it? north_shore_racer Wrote:Kyosho mp-5 buggy, RTR minus servos 3 bodies a few options... - Traxxas_Junkee - 10-05-2006 maxximum_44 Wrote: He edited the post. a few options... - maxximum_44 - 10-05-2006 a few options... - Traxxas_Junkee - 10-05-2006 lol. a few options... - north_shore_racer - 10-05-2006 yea, i edited it. so any opinions besides the buggy? anybody say the MGT and maxx? and once i get more info on the TNX i'll post it up. im definately leaning towards the buggy as of now. a few options... - SLOW REVO - 10-05-2006 I Have some savages im looking to sell cheap.SAVAGE X, 25, & LIMITED a few options... - TmaxxCrap - 10-05-2006 Go with the buggy a few options... - Ponch - 10-05-2006 You will have a hard time finding parts for that buggy, it's REALLLYY old. I would get the MGT/Tmaxx combo. a few options... - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 10-05-2006 I'd keep looking.....or build the Revo. a few options... - north_shore_racer - 10-05-2006 yea i was thinking bout building the revo, is it really that hard to find parts for the buggy? im starting to lean towards the mgt tmaxx, i can prolly sell those for more money than i could just the revo, so its a profit. althought im still waiting for someone to say they got a better buggy Slow Revo- willing to trade an even trade for one of them? possibly one of them as a roller with motor? i got a radio and servos i can use.
