Maybe you could try spraying some WD-40 on them.

I think that would hurt more than it would help....Not sure though.

theres gotta be something that the pros use, cause in pics their tires look really clean while on the track

wd40 would help, the pros dont do anything special, the mud on there gets knocked off on the straight away anyway

and think about this, whats traction? rubber sticking to dirt, why eliminate the stick right lol

If your treads are not clearing when you run, you prolly have the wrong tire for the condition, true?

dirty tires?? - Tex - 08-27-2006

not necessarily. Sometimes the dirt is simply too wet to allow the tires to clear very well, meaning it's sticky.

dirty tires?? - Obsessive R/C - 08-27-2006

Most of the dirt will clear on a straight with a good stab of throttle.

dirty tires?? - Tex - 08-27-2006

sometimes tires stay caked no matter how long of a strait or how hard you stab the throttle.
Most of the time it clears though

....and in those conditions I would want a wider spaced lug, or step-pin tread style tire.

dirty tires?? - rocco79 - 08-27-2006

Correct...

dirty tires?? - Tex - 08-28-2006

it doesn't always clear out no matter what tire you have, just stating experience
