Anyone tweak out there settings on there m11. For example their exp or dual rate?

Only thing I really do is set the dual rate to 150.. looking for other stuff that might help.

exp, epa. servo speed, traction control, and the timers are the ones I use frequently.

So what are your settings at what do you feel they do for you?

M11 Setups - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 07-31-2006

i turn down my steering expo to about -40 so i keep myself outta trouble and sometimes up to -60 on the throttle depending on what motor i have in, really makes me a better driver i havent messed wiht servo speed or traction control yet

The settings very

EPA are your end poiint adjustments control how far the servo travels
EXP is the movement of the servo
traction control I only used indoors.

What works for me in my radio will probably not work for you. It varies on driving style, servos, engine, and other factors.

The best bet is to mess around with the radio. The manual is good just have to read it over a few times. I would start with the simple stuff to get figured out and go from there.

Im past the simple stuff, ive just heard alot of pro's use exp and they swear by it so I want to see what other people have.

M11 Setups - cemeb4dk - 07-31-2006

sorry by your first post, I thought you didnt knwo how to set up the radio

M11 Setups - Sh1nn3r - 07-31-2006

It's cool...what Mike said is the kind of stuff im looking for.

M11 Setups - snakebite46 - 08-01-2006

-40 to -60 is what I normally use on the throttle
-30 to -40 on the steering.

George, you use traction control ??? Notice any differences ? Thats probally one of the things I never played with.

M11 Setups - cemeb4dk - 08-01-2006

Rich I used it indoor when the track was slick, Honestly I never tried it outdoors. It really helped comming out of a turn with the 528 in the truggy. It kinda makes the servo stutter for a milli sec to control wheel spin and spin outs. I should try it outdoors especially when the track is loose but I just havent raced enough outdoors this year. Its definitely worth playing around with.

And yes my exp is around -60 and -30 also

That might help greatly on a real loose dusty track. Good stuff guys keep them coming.

Thanks dude. I've been meaning to play with the ABS for some time. Just keep forgetting about it. Might try messing around with this weekend.

I was just wondering if any of u have the radio I do or used to, I have the air, mx-3, it doesnt have exp from the looks of it, but would it be the same thing to adjust the arc this way

M11 Setups - badmojo - 08-02-2006

anyone know about what I was talking about in my last post, or can answer my ??

M11 Setups - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 08-02-2006

I think you were asking if the MX3 has steering exponential adjustment. I don't know, but I do know that steering EXPO is not the same as steering EPA. Expo is used to "calm down" the response of the function around neutral. It makes the steering less twitchy when driving straight, and makes throttle application smoother, less abrupt.

M11 Setups - badmojo - 08-03-2006

na dude I know expo isnt the same as epa, what I was wondering is the mx3 has something called arc on it, and wondering if this would have the same effect as expo

M11 Setups - Sh1nn3r - 08-03-2006

ARC = Adustable Rate Control it basicly varies the amount of servo action with respect to manipulation of the steering wheel or throttle trigger. Increasing or decreaseing the rate will make the action quicker or slower. So basicly it is very similar to exp.

M11 Setups - Sh1nn3r - 08-03-2006

Moved my exp to -40 on steering and -50 on throttle feels alot smoother not twitchy like it was before Smile

thanks man thats what I was looking for
