Decision Time - Ponch - 05-31-2006

I've been thinking for a while, I may want to pick up a Jammin CRT kit. I think after the bash I'm going to just part out el revo and see what I get for it. Do you think I could get enough for the Jammin with what I have in the revo?

Tekno R/c throttle mount
4 corners RPM Axle Carriers
Setback Arms
Ext. Chassis
Ti-Nitrate Shock shafts
P2 Rockers
Many sets of springs
3.3
Red Alu Pushrods
PL steering Arm
RD RACING starter box
Mugen wing/ mount / custom mounting plate
4x LSP tires on Hurricanes
Bowties on dish
I'm sure theres other stuff I'm forgetting...

Decision Time - Ponch - 05-31-2006

Hmm....Seems as a concensus I won't get enough for a Jammin. Mabye getting some stuff used? Good idea or? Kinda iffy on used stuff butRolleyes .

All I can say is good luck!! Remember Rob sold a Supermaxx for a crt. Ok well he sold the supermaxx and bought a crt, trade would have been we-todd-ed

Decision Time - RobH - 05-31-2006

...too think I was going to get a hellfire LOL

CRT Pro Kit: $600
Picco P3 .28: $200
Airtronics 359: $115
JR z590: $30
Spektrum DX3: $210
Ofna Chrome top w/ 12v batt: $45
----------------------------------
= Endless fun

(I would also accept $1,200, or 184.6 hours of making pizzas :p: )

Ok but; I don't need servos or radio.
So that's
CRT Pro Kit: $600

Only $845!!! lol...Damn. Ok so I get the Axial 28 with pull start, and it's only $750.

Decision Time - RobH - 05-31-2006

A couple people on BYT got the Axial 28, neither of them liked it.

Don't forget a 1/8 pipe if you don't already have one, and the picco .28 factory team uses a turbo plug which it does not include. Guy at leisures recommended the OS P7, and I like it. Running 30% nitro.

If you get a pullstart motor, you'll have to get some taller motor mounts, like the ones from the CRT RTR, and you won't be able to run the jammin/king headz/dace one peice mount.

Decision Time - Ponch - 06-01-2006

Ugh lol....So this would basically be a -take a month and get money to build this truck- kinda thing right? I'm getting a job I think in the end of June/beginning of July for the summer.

Remember this: Don't spend money you don't have. Wink

I tend to do that :p:

Decision Time - Ponch - 06-01-2006

Ehh I can't spend money I don't have- my parents won't loan me any anymore lol.

Decision Time - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 06-01-2006

Since Mike hasn't said it already, I will...buy that TTR truggy that's for sale here for $499 RTR and be done! I wish I had the coin cuz I would buy that truggy in a heartbeat! My RC budget is on empty.

Decision Time - Traxxas_Junkee - 06-01-2006

If you part out, put me down for the chassis and motor...

Decision Time - Ponch - 06-01-2006

Haha Kyle you're funny....Smile

Decision Time - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 06-01-2006

revo2k dont overlook that TTR truggy, its and RTR. The motor in is is decent, plenty fror racing. Just put in your own electronics and ur good. And its cheap. You guys dont need to put a .28 in just because its atruggy, the majority of the pros even run .21s because the extra power is un-needed

Decision Time - Michowski - 06-01-2006

+1 on the powerband thing

Decision Time - Ponch - 06-01-2006

Yeah, but I like building kits too though... I was looking at it for a bit though. I just like the look of the Jammin better...

Decision Time - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 06-01-2006

u gotta take it apart and put it back together anyway lol never trust the loctite on an rtr lol ud liek the TTR better im sure

Decision Time - Traxxas_Junkee - 06-01-2006

Why is that funny? I will probally take them.

Decision Time - Ponch - 06-01-2006

I'll (if I do it) just ebay any/everything related to my revo.
