Anyone know anything about electric boats on here? My family just got this http://www.fourwinns.com/lineprod.cfm?model=220 and now it is a good excuse for me to get an electic boat, anyone know anything about them or a good one to get, I don't really want to spend over $120

Not sure but i had a 46 inch enforcer with a 30cc modded water cooled gas engine very fun! Go gas if you get anything.

My vote gots to the modded 700sc version of the Cen Aquajet from Off shore electrics. I've been thinking of selling off one of my nitros and getting one for myself. I miss the Traxxas Villain that I modded like crazy that I used to have. Actualy I'd prefer an electric any day over a nitro boat.

I think I'm going to go with the one that Revo2k suggested, most of the time I will be running in calm waters, but then again, when we head to the lake of the ozarrks or something like that I want to be able to run it like crazy and not break anything or watch it make bubbles and never see it again...

Boats won't sink!!! they put floataton foam into most boats so even if you filled the thing with water it would still stay afloat. If it doesn't have floatation foam just put some styrfoam or packing peanuts in there the hull and it won't sink.

Nitro and Gas boats suck in the suburbs because many villages have ordinaces against running ANY Fuel burning device on village owned body of water. I know Schaumnurg does, and hoffman estates both have them. I think its elmhurst or addison even goes so far as to provide a specific pond (near North ave and 83) just for Nitro and gas boats to run of which you have to have a village permit! (also an FYI don't go to that pond unless your car is 100% street legal because those forest preserve cops will look to give tickets Rolleyes

)

Zenoha powered gas boats are sick!! Very loud... it's not suprising that the village has issues.
I have two right now that I'm painting for a friend...a Commander and a 55 Shockwave.
