Polished JP-1 pipe (excellent condition) $45 or trade for JP-2

F/S/T JP-1 pipe - Ponch - 01-28-2006

Is that the top end or low end pipe?

F/S/T JP-1 pipe - thenewguy821 - 01-28-2006

I think the JP-1 is the Low-end pipe, the JP-2 is the Midrange.

F/S/T JP-1 pipe - Ponch - 01-28-2006

I have a jp1 too I think..Sorry lol..

F/S/T JP-1 pipe - Michowski - 01-28-2006

jp-1 is a low end pipe. jp-2 is a mid to top end pipe.

sorry to jack the thread but I have a question that isnt worth starting a thread.

sorry stupid question but what is the difference between top end and low end pipes?
I think I may know but not sure.

top end gives you overall the most speed, low end gives you faster take offs. Just how it sounds

or you can use it to calm a motor. like a top end pipe on a low end motor ( my fav combo) just fast all over. smooths out the power band. also seems if you add a low pipe to a low motor, it tends to be a gas hog. my s5 with a 086 got 11:38 run time running 210 or less.

carry on.

Yes, complete pipe w/ header.

F/S/T JP-1 pipe - FreeRideFrosty - 01-30-2006

If it were to get rigged up in a revo I would need to run it out the side like Gabe does correct?? (In your honest opinion being that the .21 VZ-B is a torque monster should I look for a high end pipe??)

F/S/T JP-1 pipe - JOE - 01-30-2006

do you accept paypal?

F/S/T JP-1 pipe - Obsessive R/C - 01-30-2006

IMO it won't really matter what pipe you use on that engine...it's going to be a bit much for you and you won't notice the difference in pipes unless you have consistantly minimized your lap times and are perfectly dialed in with your set up. What you may want to consider is fuel mileage. The OS 2050 is a good pipe for fuel mielage, but that will vary with your driving style.
