Taken from http://www.bigsquidrc.com :

Hot Bodies is now shipping their Lightning Stadium 10. It's a pretty nice looking truck. It includes a 4wd shaft drive system, disc brake system, 2.5 Power Factory Engine with Jump Start(I love the Jump Start!), Aluminum Tuned Pipe, Full Ball Bearings, and is pretty much RTR! For those racing in the 10th scale truck class, or anyone looking for a smaller basher, this sounds like a truck to look into!

It is a pretty cool looking truck, but why does Hot Bodies and HPI come out with trucks designed for racing, that have no class to race in?

Cuz they know RC guys are junkies!

Can you race this in standard MT?

New Lightning Stadium Truck - rocco79 - 01-19-2006

What? No, its a stadium truck like the Nitro MT from hpi. It really doesnt have a home, but it fits better with the 1/10 gas

Is 4wd ok in gas truck 1/10?

New Lightning Stadium Truck - rocco79 - 01-19-2006

Not really... At a dd's race you would be thrown in with the rest of 1/10. And i THINK at LH on a normal sunday you would be too. BUt for bigger races I doubt it would have a class

still a cool looking machine...

It might make a decent basher truck. It's probably pretty light and could take a beating. Tower only has them listed as pre-order right now.. but they are $10 more then the 1/8th scale version.... maybe the price will drop when they actually come in.

It's probably quick around the track, but like it was already mentioned, no real class for it.

I'm sure we'll see one show up at the track eventually.
